Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 613 of 26 November 2013, and the insufficient information provided in the Health Service Executive response to same, with regard to the €18 million intervention fund announced last May to tackle waiting lists, if any of the €18 million was used to provide private treatment for those on waiting lists; if so, the amount of that €18 million used for such a purpose; the number of procedures privately procured; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
