Deputy Pádraig O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport in light of the reported non-attendance of Galway Culture Company at meetings of Galway City Council, if his Department has received the most recent audited accounts of the company; if the company has provided his Department with details of its plans for the expenditure of the €1 million in legacy project funding granted by his Department; if he is aware of negotiations between the company, University of Galway and Údarás na Gaeltachta to transfer control of the company to those bodies; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
