Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Finance the money allocated to the rent tax credit and within the base under the Stability Programme Update and Summer Economic Statement for 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 respectively; and if there is €288 million in the tax base for the rent tax credit in 2024 given €200 million was allocated to it in Budget 2023 and a further €88 million was allocated to it in Budget 2024.
