Deputy Mattie McGrath asked the Minister for Health if he will clarify the Government’s position on the proposed World Health Assembly pandemic treaty, which would confer sweeping new powers on the World Health Organisation in future public health emergencies; and if the Government intends to fully support this treaty, or will reject any provisions that may interfere with national sovereignty, medical freedom or the right of the Irish people to have democratic oversight over health policy decisions.
