Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Health the payment received to date for 2014 under the agreement Ireland has operated in relation to the bilateral health care reimbursement agreement with the United Kingdom in respect of health services provided under EU regulations; the payment received in 2013 and the reason the amount received in 2014 is different in view of the fact that payments are meant to be based on the most recent sample survey which was conducted in 2008 and that both Administrations have agreed in principle to work towards a form of pensioner registration and while this has not yet been completed the reason there has been a change in the level of payments; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
