Deputy Michael Moynihan asked the Minister for Health if a full-time consultant in pain medicine will be appointed in the South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital, Cork; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the HSE has not replaced a consultant post in pain medicine in the hospital since a consultant retired in 2015; if his attention has been further drawn to the waiting lists in this department and the cancellation of outpatient and procedure lists for September, October and November 2018; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
