McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the procedures which were followed to invite tenders for the contract to store the electronic voting machines by a local returning officer (details supplied); if national and local newspapers featured advertisements inviting tenders for storage facilities; if so, when these advertisements appeared; the number of tenders which were received; the cost of each; the lowest tender offered for the storage of this equipment; the person who was awarded the tender; if this was not the lowest tender submitted, the reason therefor; and if this tender included the storage of the electronic voting machines in addition to the ancillary equipment.
