Deputy Fergus O'Dowd asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if he will consider amending the Health Act 2007 (Care and Welfare of Residents in Designated Centres for Older People) Regulations 2013, Health Act 2007 (Care and Support of Residents in Designated Centres for Persons (Children and Adults) with Disabilities Regulations 2013 and the Mental Health Act (Approved Centres) Regulations 2006 to include a requirement to update a care plan or personal plan to incorporate a safeguarding plan, where a resident is identified as being at risk of harm; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
