Bruton asked the Minister for Transport the reason his Department continues to justify a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny holding an international road freight carrier’s licence when they have been served with an enforcement notice from Kilkenny County Council to the effect that they have no permission to run their haulage business from this location; if his Department’s attention has been drawn to the fact that this situation exists due to the fact that the existing licence expires on 13 October 2004; if a licence will continue to be granted; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
