490 Deputy Willie Penrose asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if in the context in which an elderly disabled person is living in a condemned house, and whereby with the aid of family members, they wish to construct a new dwelling house, which would incorporate appropriate facilities including bathrooms and so on, for such a person, if he will indicate if there is any grant aid available from his Department to assist in the provision of such necessary facilities, or for insulation purposes, whereby the elderly person does not have the financial wherewithal to provide such facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
