Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason payment under the 2017 GLAS scheme has not issued to a farmer (details supplied) despite the fact that the farmer has been informed that there is no issue with their GLAS claim; if his attention has been drawn to the financial burden being placed on farmers such as this farmer as a result of the delay is issuing GLAS payments in a timely manner especially in circumstances in which farmers are fully compliant with the GLAS scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
