Deputy Joe Carey asked the Minister for Transport if he will provide an update regarding progress on the Killaloe Bypass/Shannon Bridge Crossing/R464 Upgrade indicating if the €43.6 million allocated towards the delivery of this critical scheme for south east Clare and north Tipperary will be sufficient to complete the project given soaring building costs; if not, the contingency plans that are in place; if he will provide an overview of the timelines associated with the scheme including a construction start date; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
