Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Education and Skills if operators of the school transport scheme are obligated to accept and admit ticket holders for carriage on later scheduled services on the same route for which they hold a valid ticket in order to facilitate students who participate in after-school extra curricular activities and must seek transportation from school on a later scheduled service in instances in which such a service exists; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
