Deputy Michael Lowry asked the Minister for Education the steps she is taking to deliver on a capital building programme in a school (details supplied); if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the project costs for the school have increased by approximately 60% from the price that was initially indicated on the application submitted to her Department; the steps her Department is taking to provide additional financial assistance to this school considering the entire building industry in Ireland had seen substantial inflation increases as a direct result of Covid-19, Brexit and the uncertain availability of raw materials and skilled labour in the building industry; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
