Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Finance if his attention has been drawn to the current situation with a company (details supplied) which the National Asset Management Agency has placed into examinership; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the National Asset Management Agency turned down a buy-out bid from a management consortium within the company and is now looking at bids for the firm from outside the State; and if there is anything in the NAMA Act which encourages NAMA to explore all potential avenues when it comes to bids for loans-assets, where jobs are at play, to keep the sales within Ireland.
