Durkan asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the extent to which the highest possible prizes have been won by players of the national lottery in the past twelve months; the way that this corresponds with the number of times that major prizes were won in the previous year; the extent of the cost of advertising in the past twelve months and in the previous year; if the community receives 90% of the proceeds of the National Lottery as advertised on television; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
