Deputy Roderic O'Gorman asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration for an update on plans to transfer responsibility for the Multi-Unit Developments Act 2011 from the Department of Justice; Home Affairs and Migration to the Department of Housing; Local Government and Heritage as promised in the Programme for Government; if this will require primary legislation; the Department which will lead on the drafting of this legislation; and when the draft Bill will go to Cabinet; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
