Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the number of cases of alleged sexual abuse of children in foster care by a person or persons in the home that have been reported to the HSE in each year in the past decade; the policy of the HSE for dealing with such reports; if An Garda Síochána was informed in each case; if the policy is for the children to be removed from the home on foot of an allegation being made; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
