43 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Defence if his Department will proceed with the overhaul of the five Dauphin helicopters at a cost of £1.25 million for each aircraft which is due to commence in 2001; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that Air Corps personnel have already expressed their concerns with regard to the suitability of the Dauphin for search and rescue mission in the Atlantic coast theatre; and if his attention has further been drawn to the fact that there is a difficulty in securing spare parts and, therefore, in these circumstances, if he will proceed with the maintenance of these helicopters.
