PQ 431

431. Deputy Emer Currie asked the Minister for Transport further to Parliamentary Question No. 190 of 23 June 2026, the reason his Department could have only been notified 17 times by An Garda Síochána of offences pertaining to non-compliant number plates between May 2025 and January 2026, and to not receive any notification of any associated court offences during this period given that Parliamentary Question No. 1325 of 18 March 2026 to the Minister for Justice Home Affairs and Migration shows that 3,304 fixed charge notices were issued for non-compliant number plates in Q4 2025.
