Deputy Catherine Connolly asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth further to the United Nations statement issued on 23 September 2022 which concluded that children of African Irish descent were subjected to racial discrimination and systemic racism in Irish childcare institutions, if he has considered listing online and in the Oireachtas library, all paragraphs relating to racial discrimination in the executive summary of the commission's report, which mixed race survivors are of the belief do not accurately reflect their own lived experiences and testimony; if not, the reason; if he intends to attach the UN statement to the commission's report maintained online and in the Oireachtas library as the official and historical record; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
