Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources his response is to the recent adjudication by UNECE, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, which found that the Irish NREAP, national renewable energy action plan, is in breach of international legal obligations and that the EU has failed in its obligation to ensure the Irish NREAP complied with its legal obligations under the Aarhus Convention; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
