PQ 438

438. Deputy Maureen O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources if half of the proceeds from the €1.2 billion sale of Bord Gáis will be invested in capital infrastructures such as Irish Water which was set up under Bord Gáis, if this means he is discounting the price and offsetting the costs for infrastructure that they have to pay to the contractor (details supplied); the way he will prevent gas price increases in Ireland where competition is significantly less than in Britain; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
