Deputy Seán Crowe asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if he, or officials from his Department, attended the second ad hoc committee session on sovereign debt restructuring processes that took place in the United Nations in New York in the United States of America, from 28 to 30 April 2015; the reason Ireland voted against the establishment of a United Nations committee on sovereign debt restructuring, in September 2014 and in December 2014; and if he will prioritise the restructuring of unfair and unsustainable debt, as well as debt justice, as issues in Ireland's foreign affairs policies.
