Deputy Danny Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Finance the steps he has taken regarding the rising cost of insurance in view of the fact that the insurance companies now available to the market are keeping prices up at unreasonable levels; if the companies profits can be determined or controlled in view of the fact that since a company (details supplied) was forced out of the market the cost of insurance has escalated alarmingly; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
