Deputy Robert O'Donoghue asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Finance in view of the planned transfer of responsibility for the collection of the derelict sites levies to the Revenue Commissioners, whether monies collected in respect of sites located within the Fingal County Council area will be returned directly to Fingal County Council; if not, the reason for same; whether consideration has been given to ringfencing or reallocating such revenues back to the local authority in which they were generated to support housing delivery, regeneration projects, public realm improvements and local infrastructure; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
