Deputy John Lahart asked the Minister for Health if there is any provision for the possibility of grandfathering to take place in order that regulation will allow professionals who have been practising for a long period to be eligible to work as accredited counsellors and psychotherapists in view of the standards set by Quality and Qualifications Ireland that those who want to work as professional practitioners will have to achieve.
