Deputy John Brassil asked the Minister for Health if additional funding will be made available as requested by the HSE in its submission to the health Estimates process for respite care services for the Cork and Kerry region, especially for the Tralee and Listowel areas in which there is a huge shortfall in the provision of respite care services; if he will provide additional funding to allow the facility purchased in Listowel by an association (details supplied) for the expansion of respite services to be operational; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
