Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if an estate (details supplied) in County Kildare is considered an unfinished estate for the purposes of a waiver from both household charge and property tax; the reason the residents were retrospectively charged the household charge at the end of 2012 when their estate was definitively considered unfinished on the original due date in March of that year; when his Department will conduct another review of unfinished estates nationally; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
