PQ 46

46. Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health the progress on the implementation of the national positive ageing strategy which was published on 24 April 2013, but on which there has been little sign of progress since, given that work on developing the original strategy began in 2007 and older persons have been waiting more than eight years for progress on this issue; whether an implementation plan to deliver the Government’s commitments on positive ageing will be introduced and when; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
