469 Mr. Glennon asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if, in view of the proposals to set up joint policing committees as contained in the Garda Síochána Bill 2004, the Garda representatives on the joint policing committee for a local authority area in which more than one Garda division is operational will be drawn from all Garda divisions represented in that area; if so, his views on whether this is an appropriate use of scarce Garda resources; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
