Deputy Claire Kerrane asked the Minister for Social Protection the meaning of the phrasing, the date on which the decision takes effect is prescribed as the date on which payment of Covid-19 pandemic unemployment payment shall cease to be made refers to with regard to Statutory Instrument 546 of 2021 on Social Welfare (Consolidated Claims, Payments and Control) (Amendment) (No. 16) (Covid-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment) Regulations; if the meaning of the decision date will be specified; if the decision date refers to the date a decision is made, the date a person is informed regarding their application to transition to jobseeker's or if it is an arbitrary date chosen by a deciding officer; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
