Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage his views on whether that in cases in which a person is on the housing list in one local authority area, but in rented accommodation in an adjacent area, and is threatened with homelessness, that there should be a clear policy determining which local authority is responsible for administering tenant-in-situ and other homelessness prevention measures; and his further views on whether it should be the local authority where the person is on the housing list, or the local authority where the person is resident, that takes responsibility for homelessness prevention measures such as tenant-in-situ.
