Deputy Paul Nicholas Gogarty asked the Minister for Education and Youth if her attention has been drawn to the site complexities in relation to providing a new ASD unit at a listed school (details supplied), given its partial location in a riparian area and also the need to preserve the existing Gaelic games pitch which also services an important wider community need; if she will confirm receipt of a report from the school regarding same; if she will provide a timescale for when the report will be considered or whether an on-site meeting would be advisable, in order to identify and accelerate an optimal agreed alternative location within the school grounds; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
