Deputy Noel Harrington asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the number of vehicles that were declared to be going off road for a period during 2013 by the year of manufacture for each year since 1983; the classes of these vehicles; the horsepower categories of these vehicles; the total cost to the Exchequer of these declarations; the way in which this compares to the same figures in 2012 for those who made declarations that the vehicles had been off the road; if he will indicate the possible loss or increase in revenue as a result of the new regulations regarding vehicles being off road; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
