47 Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Finance, in view of the State’s current debt-to-GDP ratio and the ratios expected to be reached as part of the ECB-IMF programme, his views on whether the 5% reduction in the State’s debt-to-GDP ratio for states in breach of the 60% threshold as required under the terms of the inter-governmental treaty is achievable; when he believes the 60% target will be met; and the scale of fiscal adjustments that will be required post-2015 to meet this target.
