Deputy Kevin Humphreys asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the steps proposed to implement the terms of section 48 of the Local Government Reform Act 2014; if he will clarify whether, in the case of a council that does not have municipal districts, it is intended that the corporate policy group will include at least one member from each local electoral area and, if so, the mechanism to achieve this in view of the fact that section 133(1)(c) of the Local Government Act 2001, as inserted by section 48 of the 2014 Act, refers only to municipal districts; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
