Deputy Michael Lowry asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the Limerick to Waterford primary route, the N24, was identified by Transport Infrastructure Ireland as a priority project for upgrading works (details supplied); when a decision will issue from TII on the project appraisal plans for both sections of the N24 in view of the importance of the road as a corridor link from Rosslare Europort to the west of Ireland; if the project will be accelerated; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
