Deputy Anthony Lawlor asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 492 of 30 September 2014 the progress made with regard to the introduction of a politics and society module to the leaving certificate curriculum; if she will provide a brief outline of the outstanding issues highlighted by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment, as outlined in her response to that question; if these issues have been addressed; if a deadline has been set for the implementation of this subject in schools; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
