Deputy Kevin O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the position regarding the possible route the M20 Cork to Limerick may take; if his attention has been drawn to the importance of the construction of the motorway via Mallow, Charleville and Buttevant for social, economic and environmental reasons; if his attention has been further drawn to the fact that the construction of this motorway on another route would have a detrimental effect on the entire economic development of the western corridor; and if he will liaise with Transport Infrastructure Ireland to this effect.
