Broughan asked the Minister for Justice and Equality further to Parliamentary Question No. 1086 of 18 September 2013, if he will provide a breakdown of the number of defendants convicted under the Road Traffic Acts and the number of driving licences recorded in respect of these convictions for each month since May 2012 when the Courts Service introduced arrangements in summonses advising persons charged with an offence under the Road Traffic Acts to bring their driving licence and a photocopy of their licence with them when attending court.
