PQ 512
512. Deputy Martin Ferris asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the concerns that landowners who have entered into option agreements with developers of wind farms have unwittingly been tied into legally binding contracts that stop succession rights to the land, prevent activity on the property which may interfere with the wind speed or wind direction over the property, that landowners will not apply for any planning permission without first requesting the developer's approval; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
