Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Education the reason she has halted the long-promised development of school buildings (details supplied) which already has planning permission in place and a contractor ready to go; if she will explain the implications for the school and another school; the examination that took place of the implications for students and potential students as a result of this decision before it was made, particularly those with additional educational needs; the additional supports that will be put in place to support these students throughout the delay; and when she expects the development to recommence given the commitment by An Taoiseach that the delayed projects will recommence in 2023.
