Deputy Frankie Feighan asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if he is aware that a number of hotels and other approved accommodation centres across Ireland, (details supplied) have quite a number of rooms/beds available and are not fully occupied, despite the best efforts of management and owners in highlighting the vacancies there seems to be no take up from IPAS and the Department to fill those vacancies; if the Minister provide an explanation for this policy; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
