Broughan asked the Minister for Justice and Equality further to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 86 and 87 of 17 May 2017, the number of those summonses not served in 2015 and 2016 that were reissued; further to the statement that a summons struck out not served can be reissued at the request of An Garda Síochána, the details of same; if this is normal practice; the policies in place to enable a garda to decide to have a summons reissued or not; if that report is now available; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
