Deputy Barry Heneghan asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation whether his Department has assessed the impact of the removal of the supplementary pension under the Public Service Single Pension Scheme 2013 on members of fast accrual professions including the Defence Forces, An Garda Síochána, the Prison Service and fire services, particularly the gap between retirement in these roles and eligibility for the State Pension; whether any measures are being considered to address this gap; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
