PQ 531

531. Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Education and Skills if she will re-examine the new criteria put in place to be eligible for access to a scribe or word processor in State examinations as the criteria is too stringent and students such as a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 are missing out on this vital service by a mere 1% in the qualifying tests; and if discretion can be applied when a student misses out by such a small margin.
