Broughan asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he will report on any recent initiatives or studies his Department or its agencies have carried out in conjunction with the Department of Health on the health effects of electromagnetic radiation from mobile telephones and given a number of health issues raised by Oireachtas communications committee reports in the Twenty-ninth and Thirtieth Dáileanna Éireann; if he is continuing to monitor those health effects with the Department of Health in respect of the location of mobile telephone masts and the use of mobile telephones by children; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
