Deputy Tony McLoughlin asked the Minister for Education and Skills while understanding that in accordance with the provisions of the Residential Institutions Redress (Amendment) Act 2011 and that the board's power to accept late applications under sections 8(2) and 8(3) of the redress Act 2002 ceased at midnight on 16 September 2011, if she will consider allowing further late applications to be considered for hearing by the board in 2016; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
