Deputy Seán Crowe asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if his attention has been drawn to the worsening situation in Yemen and that the UN estimates the war there has killed almost 6,900 persons, wounded more than 35,000 and displaced at least 3 million since March 2015; if his attention has been further drawn to the fact that fighter jets belonging to the Saudi Arabia-led coalition have in recent weeks carried out air strikes which have directly targeted civilians and may constitute war crimes; and if he supports an independent and international investigation into these war crimes allegations.
